Katarzyna Kubrak is an emerging product designer originally from Warsaw, Poland currently a part of the vibrant New York design scene. Katarzyna studies product design at Parsons, The New School. Beyond her academic pursuits, Katarzyna serves as a studio assistant for an acclaimed resin artist, Jason Young as well as helps other artists with fabrication. Katarzyna’s design philosophy centers around exploring the raw forms and inherent properties of materials. Her preferred mediums include metal, wood, clay, and glass, where she employs various traditional and alternative techniques. Recently, she has delved into the world of bio materials such as bio-polymers mycelium and Algae, pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and incorporating these elements into her  designs.
